🚀 Getting Started

Welcome to Gallery Photo Album! Follow these steps to get started:

1. Download and install the app from the Google Play Store.
2. Launch the app – your media will be loaded automatically from your device storage.
3. Grant permissions when prompted to allow the app to access your photos, videos, and storage.
4. Explore the interface – use the bottom navigation to switch between Photos, Albums, and Settings.
5. Customize your experience by choosing your preferred theme and language in Settings.

📁 Managing Photos & Videos

Browsing Media

The main screen displays all your photos and videos in a grid layout. You can switch between Photos view, Videos view, or view all media together. Use the timeline toggle to browse by years and months.

Creating and Managing Albums

Albums are automatically created based on folders on your device. You can also create custom albums:

1. Long press on any photo or video to enter selection mode.
2. Select multiple items and tap the menu button (three dots).
3. Choose "Move to album" or "Copy to album".
4. Select an existing album or create a new one.

Searching Media

Tap the search icon on the main screen to search across all your media by file name. Results update in real-time as you type.

Favorites

Tap the heart icon on any photo or video to add it to your favorites. Access all your favorites from the Favorites section in the side menu.

🔒 Private Vault & Security

Keep your personal media safe from prying eyes with the Private Vault feature.

Setting Up Private Vault

1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.
2. Tap "Setup PIN" to create a 4-digit passcode.
3. Optionally, enable "Biometric Unlock" for fingerprint or face unlock.
4. Set up a security question for password recovery.

Moving Media to Private Vault

1. Long press on a photo or video to select it.
2. Tap the menu button and choose "Move to Private".
3. Confirm the move. The item will be removed from the public gallery.

Restoring from Private Vault

Open the Private Vault from the side menu, select the items you want to restore, and tap "Restore". The items will be moved back to your public gallery.

✎ Photo Editing

Gallery Photo Album includes a powerful built-in photo editor. To edit a photo:

1. Open any photo in the full-screen preview.
2. Tap the Edit icon (pencil) at the bottom.
3. Use the editor tools to enhance your photo:

• Filters: Choose from 20+ filters including Sepia, Grayscale, Vintage, Documentary, and more.
• Adjust: Fine-tune brightness, contrast, and saturation.
• Brush: Draw freehand on your photo with adjustable brush size and color.
• Text: Add custom text with various font styles.
• Emoji & Stickers: Decorate your photos with emojis and sticker packs.
• Shapes: Add lines, arrows, ovals, and rectangles.

When you're done, tap the save icon to save your edited photo to the gallery.

🎨 Creating Collages

Create beautiful photo collages from 2 to 9 images:

1. On the main screen, long press to select multiple photos (up to 9).
2. Tap the Collage button at the bottom.
3. Choose from various puzzle layout styles.
4. Drag and drop pieces to rearrange them.
5. Adjust border spacing using the slider.
6. Tap individual pieces to swap, mirror, or rotate them.
7. Tap Save to save your collage to the gallery.

🎥 Video Player Features

The video player offers a rich set of features for the best viewing experience:

• Playback Controls: Play/pause, seek bar, and next/previous navigation.
• Speed Control: Adjust playback speed from 0.5x to 2x.
• Picture-in-Picture: Continue watching in a floating window while using other apps.
• Background Playback: Listen to audio with the screen off (great for music or podcasts).
• Sleep Timer: Set a timer to automatically stop playback after a set duration.
• Gesture Controls: Swipe left side for brightness, right side for volume.
• Video Trimming: Trim your videos directly within the player.

📈 Recycle Bin

Accidentally deleted something? The Recycle Bin gives you a second chance:

1. Open the Recycle Bin from the side menu or Settings.
2. Browse through your recently deleted items.
3. Select items and tap "Restore" to recover them to your gallery.
4. Or select items and tap "Delete Permanently" to remove them forever.

📷 Setting Wallpapers

Browse and set beautiful wallpapers directly from the app:

1. Tap the Wallpaper option from the side menu.
2. Browse the online wallpaper collection. Tap Search to find wallpapers by keyword.
3. Tap any wallpaper to preview it in full resolution.
4. Choose "Set Wallpaper" and select where to apply it: Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Both.
5. You can also download wallpapers or share them with friends.

🔧 Additional Tools

Convert Images to PDF

Select one or more images, tap the menu, and choose "Convert to PDF". The PDF will be saved to your device and you can preview, share, or open it with other apps.

File Details

Open any photo or video in full-screen preview and tap the Info (i) button to view file details including name, size, dimensions, date, and more.

Sharing

Select one or more items and tap the Share button to share them via any installed app (WhatsApp, Email, Bluetooth, etc.).

🎨 Customization

Changing Theme

Go to Settings > Theme to choose between Light, Dark, or System Default theme. The dark theme is great for nighttime browsing and saves battery on OLED screens.

Changing Language

Go to Settings > Language to choose from 30+ supported languages. The app interface will update instantly.
